“Vegas Confidential” columnist Norm Clarke has been covering the Las Vegas celebrity scene for the Las Vegas Review-Journal since 1999. Prior to his move to Sin City, he spent 15 years in Denver, where he was an award-winning sportswriter at the Rocky Mountain News before moving into the man-about-town column in 1996.
The Montana native had a 12-year stint with the Associated Press in Cincinnati, San Diego, and Los Angeles, most of it as a sportswriter and newsman. He was the AP’s coordinator of coverage for the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. He lives a few blocks off the famous Strip at Las Vegas Country Club with his girlfriend, Cara, and his beloved puppies, Rumor and Scandal.
